  • For anyone on Windows that wants multiple desktops, check out Dexpot - http://dexpot.de

    Not laggy at all and looks/works great on Windows 7. Not sure about older versions. You can't really drag stuff between desktops though, it only works with tabbed browsers and anything where you can move the tabs. Also look through the settings for getting it to show up in the taskbar and start up automatically.

  • Just saw that someone searched for "beyonce lady gaga telephone html5 video" on their iPad from my analytics thing, a bit of proof there that Apple has failed by not supporting flash. At least the average user knows a bit about HTML5 though, even if it's one tag.

  • I know lot's of people love PHP or jQuery or whatever, but honestly my favorite "language" is CSS. I mean without it, whatever you do is just plain ugly and doesn't really matter what it does (unless it cures cancer I guess). Plus CSS can do some amazing things and I'm not even talking about CSS3.

  • Finally switched from Google Analytics to Piwik, which is a self-hosted alternative to Google Analytics. I've used it before but it's definitely better with the release of 1.0.

  • If I ever make a desktop app for something on my site (inMix, Chat) I will use Adobe AIR. This way it will work on Windows, Linux, and Mac.

  • Can't believe this worked but after many frustrating days, I finally installed Windows 7 from an upgrade cd. Much thanks goes to @flashfarm for suggesting the idea, and @zack and blackfire for helping me backup my files and such. I had fun using Ubuntu though and learned more 'bout computers. I did lose some data but a fresh install is always nice.

  • Forced to use Ubuntu while I figure out the problem with Windows. I really don't like how Ubuntu is so simplified, how the hell do I get a "location" bar to appear in folders? And where do I view all my applications... I know I'll figure it out eventually, but this is still very lacking and will be using Windows as my main OS still.
